Why I’m building it
I wanted to design the interface around my home, without writing code for every small change.
That meant more than arranging cards. I wanted control over the details inside them, the way rooms fit together, and the information that deserves space on the screen.
HomePanel Studio is the editor I’m building around that idea. The aim is to give other Home Assistant users the same freedom to create something that suits their home.
Preparing for public beta
The screenshots here are from pre-release builds. The next step is putting the editor in other people’s hands, seeing what they create, and learning what needs work.
